The N series represents the primary ongoing body of work, exploring analog video glitch aesthetics through meticulous capture and manipulation of VHS media. Each piece emerges from the intersection of analog hardware decay and digital intervention, creating metamorphic visual narratives that challenge perceptions of video fidelity and intentionality.
Concept and Process
Pieces in this series originate from analog VHS video hardware, captured via analog capture cards and extensively post-processed digitally. The work focuses on the material properties of magnetic tape degradation, signal artifacts, and the visual language of video malfunction—transforming technical failure into aesthetic expression.
