MAX CAPA.CITY
The MAX CAPA.CITY series consists of self-referential works that play on the artist’s identifier—MAX CAPACITY—while engaging with fundamental questions about artistic value, reproducibility, and the fungibility of digital artifacts. These works function as both branding statements and critical commentary.
Concept and Process
Each work in the series references the artist name while exploring the conceptual territory of capacity, limit, and reproduction. By creating intentionally “worthless” fungible tokens, the works interrogate the nature of value assignment in NFT markets and the relationship between artistic intent and market valuation. The series demonstrates strategic self-awareness regarding the artist’s participation in digital art markets.
