Description
Group exhibition featuring Tezos-based PFP and NFT collections presented as physical gallery displays at Suburbs Gallery in Montréal. Organized in conjunction with coverage from the Tezos Spotlight publication (April 3, 2025). The show highlighted PFP projects that go beyond profile pictures to express culture, art, and community — blending generative art, meme culture, hand-drawn illustration, and experimental code.
DOS PUNKS by Max Capacity was prominently featured. DOS Punks is described in the Tezos Spotlight article as “a collection of 1,000 pixel art NFTs created by artist Max Capacity, released in October 2021, drawing inspiration from early computer graphics and the aesthetics of the DOS operating system. The project is community-driven, with the DOS Punks DAO overseeing its development.”
Other PFP collections featured in the show include: Dickrbuttz, Ottez, Neonz (Sutu), GOGOs (Arya Mularama & 0x00000010), Ziggurats (Mike Shinoda), Randomly Common Skeles (John Karel), FLUX TRIBE (Konstant FLUX), Lucréce’s Monsters, SMOLSKULL (Mark Knol), Stoopid Avatar Project (Bjorn Calleja), and others.
